CBW Counseling
If you are navigating health struggles, anxiety, grief, depression, or burnout, you’ve found the right place. If you are asking, “God, how do I find peace?” or “Why don’t I feel loved?” Or maybe you “have never felt this deep exhaustion before.”
If you want more than therapy or coaching, you want someone who will understand your faith and help you see how scripture applies to your life. If you crave soul-level healing, you’ve found the right place.
Does it really help?
Here’s what people are saying!
What will you receive?
I will meet you (virtually and metaphorically) where you are. We will talk and diagnose what you are lacking and where you need support. We will continue to evaluate and re-evaluate, making sure that our approach matches your needs. We will work together to remove things in your life that are not working for you and add in the things you lack.

Our one-on-one time holds its true value in the skills and practices you carry with you when you leave. My mission is to empower you with tools that will help you sustain your peace, hope, and joy long after our journey together.

You don't have to navigate this life on your own. Sharing a burden can lighten the load. I am here to help you clarify your confusion and identify your next steps. Together, we can work on accountability and growth. When you need support, I am here to walk alongside you!

Sometimes you don’t even know where to begin, and that’s okay! I approach therapy with a belief that small changes over time make a big difference! So I will regularly give you doable action steps to help lead you from where you are to where you want to be!
Chandler Baggett Whitford
I am a counselor, author, teacher, and children’s minister. I love Jesus, and I love learning! But I also love sharing what I’ve learned and helping people apply biblical truths to their lives. I believe that God has given each of us unique gifts, talents, and abilities, and that we must learn to use them well to serve the world! If you don’t know what your gifts are or how to use them, or if you feel like there is something holding you back from living your life to the fullest, I want to help you!
I graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 2013 and then from Moody Theological Seminary in 2016. I went on to complete a residency program in Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy at Wake Forest Baptist Health and finished my residency and fellowship in 2018. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC- # 13028) in NC.
I have been married to a wonderful man of God since August of 2018, and we serve at the church where I was raised. I love baking bread, from scratch (for real!) and seeing God’s work in our garden. In my free time, you can find me learning about homesteading and wishing I had a cute, cuddly cow. Working part-time as a therapist allows me to continue serving the Lord in other areas and using other gifts and talents as God leads. I have found God’s gifting in my life, and I know that I can help you do the same.
My God bless you and keep you. May He make His face shine upon you and give you peace.
